Meta Platforms Technologies also processes data when you use Meta Quest devices and services. Their handling of data is governed by Meta’s own privacy policies.
Information We Access
Hazard Us accesses limited information provided by Meta Platforms Technologies strictly to operate essential gameplay features such as in-app purchases and multiplayer functionality.
The data accessed is limited to:
Meta Platform User ID
User Proof (one-time authentication token / nonce)
In-App Purchase entitlement information
Hazard Us does not collect names, email addresses, profile information, payment details, biometric data, or location data.
How Data Is Collected
Meta Platform User ID
The Meta Platform User ID is retrieved directly from the Meta Quest Platform SDK at app launch or session start when the user logs in with their Meta account. This occurs automatically as part of establishing an app session.
User Proof
A one-time authentication token, also known as a nonce or user proof, is generated by the Meta Quest Platform SDK for the logged-in user. This token is retrieved at runtime and is used to verify that the user is currently authenticated.
In-App Purchase Entitlements
In-app purchase entitlement information is retrieved from the Meta Quest Platform SDK using Meta’s in-app purchase APIs when a purchase is made and when the app checks whether paid content should be unlocked.
The following specific data fields are accessed when entitlement data is retrieved:
Sku
PurchaseID
GrantTime
ExpirationTime (subscriptions only)
Type (durable, consumable, or subscription)
DeveloperPayload (present but not implemented)
ReportingId (present but not implemented)
Json (raw entitlement object)
All payment processing and transaction handling are performed by Meta. Hazard Us does not receive or process payment card details or billing information.
How Data Is Used
Meta Platform User ID
The Meta Platform User ID is used solely to:
Validate ownership of purchased DLC using Meta entitlement APIs
Associate the logged-in Meta account with multiplayer sessions and voice communication using Photon networking and Photon Voice
Support session ownership, moderation, and abuse prevention
User Proof
The user proof (nonce) is used solely to:
Verify the authenticity of the Meta Platform User ID when establishing multiplayer and voice communication sessions
Prevent unauthorised or spoofed network connections
In-App Purchase Entitlements
Entitlement fields are used to:
Determine which downloadable content the logged-in user is entitled to access
Unlock or restrict content accordingly at runtime
The Meta Platform User ID, user proof, and IAP entitlement data are not used for analytics, advertising, marketing, profiling, or social discovery.
Data Storage and Retention
Hazard Us does not persist or store the Meta Platform User ID, user proof, or in-app purchase entitlement data beyond what is required for the current gameplay session.
Data is used transiently in memory to validate entitlements and manage multiplayer sessions.
Hazard Us does not maintain user profiles or long-term user records.
Data Sharing
Hazard Us does not sell user data.
Data is shared only where strictly necessary to provide core functionality:
Meta Platforms Technologies for authentication and entitlement validation
Photon for multiplayer networking and voice communication, using the Meta Platform User ID and one-time authentication tokens for session authentication
No data is shared for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
Hazard Us uses the following third-party services solely to provide core functionality:
Meta Quest Platform SDK for authentication and in-app purchases

These services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and security practices.
User Rights and Data Deletion
Hazard Us does not retain or store the Meta Platform User ID or in-app purchase entitlement data.
If any user-linked data were to exist under Hazard Us’ control, users may request confirmation or deletion by contacting info@makereal.co.uk. Any such data would be deleted or anonymised within 30 days unless retention is required for legal or security reasons.
Platform-level identifiers and purchase records are stored and managed by Meta. Users can manage or delete this data using Meta’s account privacy tools. Hazard Us will assist users in directing requests to Meta or Photon where appropriate.
Children’s Privacy
Hazard Us does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
